« Upon arrival, the house was not clean. There was dust everywhere, the entire house smelt strongly like wet dog, and the towels provided smelled extremely unpleasant. The mattress protector was covered in dog fur, which was unacceptable and made us feel uncomfortable sleeping there. Overall, the house felt unhygienic and poorly maintained.When we raised these concerns with the owner, we were told the cleaner had to rush because we requested an earlier check-in. « We had a very bad experience. The place was nice enough but the host was incredibly rude and accused us of causing damage, which we did not. He could not provide evidence of any damage when asked to so. Would not book any accommodation through stayz ever again. We are still trying to refute a fraudulent charge. The customer services through stayz is very poor. »

« Overall the cottage was quite nice. There is however, room for improvement. Outside light not working, bathroom light not working, two of the lamps either didn't have globes or globe was burnt out. One of the bedrooms has a fan however no dial for the fan to be switched on. Cottage has no stove top or oven so had to make do with a microwave settings. At least an airfryer should be provided. There was a power outage and although the host was aware, they didn't seem concerned about any...
