„What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. „Loved this newly renovated property A great mix of style and comfort Perfect amount of storage in room and a beautiful bathroom and comfy bed. Biscuits and fruit in room were a nice extra something! We enjoyed dinner at Gigi’s Food was delicious. However service while friendly needs improving Would recommend and will stay again“

„The area was nice and quiet with just the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. Amenities were good. Bedrooms were really small and the cabin was a bit dated particularly the bathroom which also was very small. Bed was a bit hard for my liking, but sheets were clean and crisp.“

„Having lived on a similar rural acreage for close to 40 years we had some idea of what to expect. This stay far exceeded our expectations, a stay of only two days. Upon arrival instantly approached by the host, Robbie, a most charming and obliging host. There is nothing that is not supplied in the way of food, beverages and household amenities. To arrive there is as much as arriving at home. Top marks for Robbie's hospitality. 5 stars!“
