« This hotel is a pub with rooms above. It is a period building so has it's quirks but that adds to it's charm. Our room was spacious & bathroom was very clean. Other furnishings a little tired & electrics need updating as extension leads with multiple sockets pose a safety issue. Food was excellent & staff were amazing. Definitely would stay again as in a great location in town. »

Lower Slaughters is the best place in the Cotswolds, and the Country Inn atmosphere and staff have further contributed to our very relaxing stay there. We planned to go for more visits, but decided to seize the moment and stay a full-day enjoying the place to read, rest, do short walks to Bourton-on-the-water or the next door mill »

« Check in was fast. The room allocated to me was easily accessible and very spacious. The plumbing system needs to be repaired. I found something floating in the wc when I first got into the room. Thought the housekeeping did not do a thorough job, but after I flushed the toilet, the floating objects kept reappearing. It was rather disgusting. The hotel has a pub and food was good, service was great too. »

« L'hôtel est très bien situé en centre-ville et calme. Par contre, la réception est quasi inexistante (à part pour remettre les clés à votre arrivée) et aucun service additionnel (pas de sèche-cheveux). 2 dosettes de café fournies avec la bouilloire pour 3 nuits réservées. Le ménage n'a pas été fait pendant mon séjour (pas même le lit). Le Wifi ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres situées tout en haut comme c'était mon cas. »

« Séjour pour une étape de randonnée sur les sentiers de la Thamise. Très bon hôtel avec un excellent pub et restaurant, très bien situé dans Cirencester. Notre chambre était située au dessus du pub et il y avait trop de bruits malheureusement même un soir de semaine jusqu'à très tard. Pas très reposant au final... Mais très bonnes prestations par ailleurs. »

« Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions. »
