« I loved this little place
everything that was needed for 1-2 people. The host even put out little emergency supplies if you forgot your toothbrush, for example. It was walking distance to everything downtown but the restaurant directly across the street was so good I ate there twice. I would love to stay here again sometime. »

« Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. « The house was a construction zone and had no driveway- construction debris and ladders in the yard. No walkways or patio just uneven dirt to the doors. Would not recommend for elderly or anyone with the walking difficulties. Before checkout, we left to get a coffee we came back to the house keepers already in the house (we still had almost an hour until checkout) and we clearly had our belongings on the deck still. « Pots and pans were disgusting. The cleaning person must not check any dishes before she leaves.No pot holders, cheap plastic sheets, the stove and oven need replaced.
