„Room was excellent. Breakfast first class, great selection & quality of food. Used Woodland Spa & ate in hotel restaurant as extras, very impressed with total experience“

„Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend“

„Great staff, friendly and very well informed Room was great, restaurant was excellent, bar was fantastic.“

„Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear ...

„Nice room, comfortable bed, nice kitchen which had everything you needed, quiet neighborhood, looks are deceiving as it looks run down but everyone appeared friendly“

„Lovely old building with original 17th century fireplace. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Rooms were clean although basic.“

„The property Looks like on the picture. Its very crowded in the evening. If You want to get away, then You need a car or a Taxi ad there is nothing around it. Further the Rooms are very noisy. “

„Restaurant Bar“

„Nice place. Friendly staff and great service. Rooms have a decent size and are clean. Good breakfast.“

„This was our second visit to Mytton Fold and as on our previous visit we found the hotel to be excellent. It is nicely located to take advantage on the Forest of Bowland, the lakes and Yorkshire. The food options in the bar and restaurant were excellent as were the breakfast options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were of a good size and it was nice to have fresh milk in the fridge which was refreshed each day. To top it all it was very good value.“

„Ok… reviews are not that good .. and I can understand, however the hotel seems in somewhat of a transition period ; (an old hospital conversion it seems with period architecture) ….work being done and plaster foot prints all through the dining hall when we arrived . Man behind desk was helpful and talkative once he understood us (yes , it’s the north and a lot of Asian run hotels now ) and a nice friendly guy. First impressions … hotel needs brightening and updating. Walk up to first floor to ...
