« We had a lovely stay at East Chalet. It’s large enough for a family of five or six, and has most amenities you’d need on a short break. All the beds are singles unless you remember to specify otherwise, and they’re small singles - great for kids but on the small side for adults. There are blinds in all the rooms but they leak a lot of light and fall down as they’re balanced on the rails. This would be an easy repair job. « Lovely peaceful location just around the corner from the beach. Small shop, cafes and bar near by, we’d recommend a visit to the ice cream parlour - lots of flavours with vegan and doggy options. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. Check-in was seamless and the host responded quickly to all communications. « Loved the location, by walks and the sea. The living space and bathroom areas are fabulous and large. Everything you could need in the kitchen, the drier was a bonus after using the hot tub (lush), we could dry our towels. Would stay again definitely. Hanging in bedroom was a bit wobbly, could do with fixing. A couple more hooks on the back of the bedroom doors would be useful. These are very minor though and did not affect our holiday at all. »

« I wrote to the host multiple times and they never responded. The house keepers were nice and the location is close to where you might want to tour, but beyond that there wasn’t anything redeeming. In regards to the communication, it was so bad that I had to help some other people checking in to apartment 5 because the host did not send them check in details. They asked the restaurant downstairs to contact the host and then I helped them into their room. The place has no elevator and no A/C only...

« We had a great stay in Alexander Pike’s one bedroom flat in Cowes. The property could not have been situated any better. It was in downtown Cowes on the pedestrian zone. The grocery store and bus stop were directly across the street from the flat. The walk from the ferry was one minute. The apartment was spotless. The appointments were perfect. Everything we could have wanted was provided. We definitely will stay here again when we return to the Isle of Wight. »
