Lovely home, in a beautiful area. My family was very comfortable, we had everyone from my 73 year old MIL to my 1 year old granddaughter. I think our favorite area was the dining room, it has a huge table, plenty of room for board games and puzzles. We had a great weekend there and highly recommend.

Wonderful Maine

A superb house for large families, with double beds in all the bedrooms and two excellent sitting rooms. The house was everything we had hoped for. The location in York is idyllic too and close to two delightful restaurants. We would thoroughly recommend this property to friends and family.

Perfect for wedding at York Harbor Inn

We had a group of 12 stay at the house (and adjacent apartment) for the weekend of a family wedding at York Harbor Inn. This house was so close to the venue and was perfect for our needs. Sarah was responsive throughout the booking and check in process. The house was clean and big - we easily could have accommodated 4+ more people. Would recommend!

Great location. Fit 10 comfortably. 4 parking spots. Pet friendly

Overall we were happy with the stay. Had friends and family and our dog. Walked to the small beach near by which was so lovely. Good communication with manager. The property itself is a little dated in decor and appliances are basic. The kitchen was stocked well with dishes/pots. We washed everything before using as they were a little dusty but that was okay. We stayed for 3 nights and had a fun vaca with the kids and grandparents.

Great House and location

The property was perfect for a family getaway- spacious, clean and so nicely directed. the kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, pots, pans, utensils, glasses, etc. The only thing I would want is A/C for the dining room and living room all other rooms have A/C. The location to the beach and Fisherman's Walk was perfect. And also so close to Short Sands & Long Sands Beaches, Kennenbunk, Oquunquit. Would definitely stay at this lovely home again.

Yearly family vacation

We had a great time. The host Sarah was very nice. There were many small things wrong with the house. Washer and dryer were not the best. Not having batteries in the remotes was extremely annoying plus the Wi-Fi reception sucked and televisions were not easy to operate. The yard and outside are very neglected. They cut the grass and that’s it. They would need a landscaper. I also feel that cleaning supplies should be provided. The AC are very loud & don’t always work great. It’s a spacious house and we didn’t feel crowded. Also the beach and location is very good.

Annual July 4th Extended Family Gathering

This house was perfect for our big family gathering. Plenty of beds and rooms to spread out. Lots of plates, a good size grill and fridge, and many beach chairs. The beach is a 2 min walk at most! My cousins and their adult children loved sitting on the front porch watching walkers, bikers, and cars go by!

Great location, responsive host

Overall we had a great time. Property was as-described, Sarah the host was wonderful and responsive for all of our questions. The fact that we could walk our kids over to the beach across the street was awesome. We could also walk to the York Harbor Inn a few "doors" up the street, and also easily visit the park across the street. Only thing I would change is an outside-accessible hose to rinse off sand from the beach for our 3- and 5-year-olds - an incredibly minor quibble.

Perfect Weekend

York Me house was a wonderful home. Great location despite being on a busy street. The home is beautiful with lots of space. Beautiful views and lots of walking spots. Had some entertainment with the groundhog sunning himself in the backyard and snacking on the beautiful plants.

Fall Refresh

Our annual ladies weekend was a success. The rental was in a great location for us to explore some trails nearby as well as some wonderful dining choices. The amount of space was amazing and allowed us to book in house massages for the day. A few small items: the closet door is off the track in the dining room and we couldn't access the stuff inside or fix it. The directions in the house were different than the ones online. Be careful on the third floor stairs, one of us slipped down them.

Good home for young families

We very much enjoyed our long weekend with four families with kids under 4! There was plenty of space to spread out inside between living areas and outside areas were well kept and perfect size for toddlers and babies. It’s across the street from the beach! We also appreciated the fast response from host with any questions. Areas of opportunity include upgrading the wifi (we needed it for baby monitors and it wasn’t fast enough) and fresh shower curtains as many were moldy.

Needs work

The location is great and rooms were as pictured, but there's a lot of work needed to make it comfortable. The wifi was too slow to actually use and given there is no cell service at the house, this was a big issue. It was mostly clean, but there were spiders everywhere and the apartment smelled so strongly of mildew that we had to keep the windows open the entire time. The house was as pictured, but apartment was in bad shape - holes in the wall, laminate peeling from the counters, ect. And the beds were very squeaky and uncomfortable. We were disappointed by all these things, but the house was spacious and sleeping arrangements were as described.

Beautiful home
