Location de vacances de particulier à Yorkshire et Humber

« The host has clearly invested a lot of money into the property, and the cottage is very cosy, tastefully decorated, and conveniently located. However, we were advised by the host that, as long as my parents were able to use stairs, they shouldn’t have any issues. In hindsight, I would recommend being particularly careful if staying with young children, older people, or anyone with balance or mobility issues. The stairs are narrow and steep, with a twist at the bottom as you enter the living...

« We chose this location primarily for its proximity to Denholme where we were staying for a friends birthday party. In particular , the main features were space for a family of 5 and being pet friendly . The host , Sophie provided all details needed and reassurance, as our first time booking a private house for an overnight stay . The price was reasonable for the accommodation and it did everything we needed . The area is a quiet pleasant suburb with a small convenience store round the corner ....

« A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again. »

« Lovely property and very accommodating host. »

« Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. »

« Great location, very clean with great facilities and communication with host was excellent »

« The cottage had a visiting Pizza van ,pizza were amazing, also they have a stable bar .the cottage was amazing, all the little touches ,my son and his wife arrived first and they text to say how amazing the cottage is »

« Recommend the bed needs a mattress protector for hygiene and to protect the mattress. The property is renovated to good modern standards for an old cottage. Shops bars restaurants taxi rank all close by. Home is clean. Host is good with communication. Definitely would stay again. »

« Clean rooms, would stay again. »

« This was an outstanding stay! Very comfortable. They had everything you could want/need in a short term rental. I was able to fix several meals in the kitchen with ease. The only hiccup was that the place hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants when we arrived. It was an oversight that was quickly remedied with the cleaning crew arriving soon after we communicated the problem. The host was easy to reach and apologetic. Even with this minor inconvenience, I would definitely recommend this...

« The property was clean and all amenities were there. Communication with the host was very comprehensive. Good location for seeing Haworth and local area. Only suggestion is that now it's towards the end of the season it needs a freshen up paint wise. Also love the fireplace but not too keen on wood as lots of places for spiders especially during peak spider season. All in all though it was lovely and quiet and a comfortable clean base. Thank you. »
