« In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state. »
« Very friendly staff, clean and tidy. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Probably the best one we have stayed in in Scarborough and we have stayed in quite a few! Unfortunately unable to access the restaurant for dinner as fully booked, but breakfast was delicious and well presented. Will definitely return. »
« The view from the hotel was amazing. We had a sea view too . Location is great for North and South Bay. There is a lift so suitable for people with mobility problems. The staff were friendly and really helpful. »
« Great communication from the hotel before and during our stay, our room was clean and well equipped, breakfast was excellent, were unfortunately unable to park on the street outside, but there is a pay and display car park on the next street. »
« Beautiful location and friendly host and staff who did everything to make our stay a memorable experience. As we and other guests were visiting the Teddy Swims event in Scarborough the host played his video in the lounge and waited for everyone to return after the event. Property is dated but as the saying goes “if it works don’t fix it.” »
« The included breakfast was fantastic. Many options and the fresh fruit salad was good quality. Clean and useful bedroom and bathroom with comfy bed and duvet. We had 6 flights of stairs to our room which was fine and expected. The location is a long way from the seaside action but again, expected. »
« Chambre exiguë, à se demander si ce n'était pas une chambre de bonne reconvertie (3 m de large sur 4 m de long), eau bouillante pour la douche à 2 reprises (2 matinées de suite) : merci pour les migraines de la journée ! Pas de wifi dans les chambres : nécessité de se rendre dans les salons et à l'accueil situés au rez de chaussée pour se connecter à internet avec smartphone et pc portable. »
« We stayed in room 314 and our room was spotless apart from window not staying open.
Spa was good although jacuzzi broke on 2 days which was disappointing.
Breakfast was nice although a little cold and tea/coffee machine not working but we asked for tea in a pot which came straight away
Enjoyed our stay apart from seagulls early morning squawking »
