Cleaning: The thing that bothered me the most was the significant amount of hair in all of the bedding/linens, as well as the restrooms/showers/bath. Other than the hair, there was just a general lack of detail cleaning with dust and random small trash/debris under furniture and at the edges of rooms, things like that. The property management was responsive and sent someone out for additional cleaning the following day, but initial impression was not great and we did not enjoy having to spend an hour or two cleaning the bedding and bathrooms on arrival... and not just a few stray hairs(plenty of those), but obvious things too like hair mats over the shower drain covers. Property: The actual house was fairly nice, with an odd mix of recent remodel (utterly massive master bath) and deferred maintenance (baseboards, kitchen, throw rugs). One thing to note, this is a 3-bedroom house and a converted detached small room with a folding couch that is NOT connected to the main house; you have to go outside to reach it and go in/out either the living room slider or master bedroom door and it gets cold (though it has a space heater). The main house has central heating. Location: A little farther from Joshua Tree park entrance by 5 min than some other options, but it has a bit more grocery stores and other things nearby to balance that out. It's still pretty close to Joshua Tree park entrances. There's a Tesla supercharger very close, which was nice.
