Solara Ridge · Vues sur la colline, Jacuzzi, baignoire cowboy
Summary:
Fold open the wall of sliding glass at Solara Ridge and the living room spills onto a Yucca Valley hilltop, with panoramic desert views and Old Town close by. Cook together at the big island, carry dinner out under the café lights, then drift between the courtyard fire pit, the six-person hot tub and, in warm months, the seasonal cowboy tub (closed November through March). Three bedrooms, the primary opening onto the fire. Sun by day, café lights by night.
The Space:
Solara Ridge sits on a hilltop in Yucca Valley, with panoramic desert views from every corner of the property. Inside, polished concrete floors, high white ceilings and warm wood cabinetry keep the open layout bright, and everything gathers around a chef's kitchen with a large island. A wall of sliding glass doors opens the living area fully to the outdoors, where a courtyard fire pit lounge, a hot tub, a cowboy tub and an outdoor dining area strung with café lights wait among the boulders and Joshua trees. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep up to eight with an air mattress. Open every slider and let the ridge in.

-Outdoor Amenities-
The courtyard front patio is where evenings begin. Sink into the lounge seating around the propane fire pit with a drink in hand and watch the light fade over the desert. Off to the side, a private patio holds the six-person hot tub, the 6-foot cowboy tub and a long wooden dining table with bench seating, all beneath strands of café lights. The cowboy tub sits beside a Joshua tree; it is not an in-ground pool and is closed November through March.
Mornings are quieter. Take coffee to the bistro set, then set up a game of cornhole before the afternoon warms. When it is time for dinner, fire up the propane BBQ and set the table with the boulders all around you.
-Living Area-
With every slider open, the living room becomes part of the hillside. Settle into the cognac leather sectional facing the view, or claim one of the green velvet chairs beneath the modern art. Drop a record on the turntable, or put on a movie with the smart TV and Bose soundbar, and keep a portable Bluetooth speaker, board games and books nearby. For larger groups, an air mattress and extra sheets are in the laundry room and can be set up in the living room.
-Kitchen and Dining-
The chef's kitchen is made for cooking together. Gold pendants hang over a large white island with seating for four, open shelving holds the glassware, and a professional range is ready for the main course. Spices, olive oil, utensils and cookware are stocked, and the coffee station has a drip machine and French press, with coffee, tea and sugar provided. Gather at the round dining table by the windows, or take the meal outside under the café lights.
-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
Solara Ridge has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary suite pairs a king bed and terracotta throw with high ceilings, leather lounge chairs, a walk-in closet and a private ensuite, and its French doors open straight to the fire pit lounge, so you can step out to the fire before bed. The ensuite has a walk-in shower in sage tile and a vanity with round mirrors. The two guest bedrooms each have a queen bed, and the second bathroom has a long vanity and a shower in patterned tile. Every bedroom has a smart TV. A travel crib is available.
-Surrounding Area-
The Copper Room at the historic airport and Old Town Yucca Valley are both close by, so dinner out is easy. Save La Copine and Giant Rock Meeting Room, Pappy & Harriet's and the West Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park for other days, then be back on the ridge by sunset.

Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.
