Mexiko: Flitterwochen

We had a nice stay at the GR Solaris hotel. The room with view to the ocean was amazing but we had always water problems in the bathroom. Unfortunately we had 2 problems at the restaurant. First, my younger daughter found a spine in the sausage. The restaurant responsible apologised and tried to make it better with one manager. The same day our second daughter was injured by something sharpen on her chair. A rescuer worker came to see the injury. Unfortunately nobody was checking at her after that day even trying to offer us something special for her. We were supposed to have VIP access but excepted the upgraded room, I did not really experience the vip access. Thanks to the entertainment team, especially coach Yzrael, Abraham, Christ and Leo. The girls at the kids club were always nice to our kids (Monti and Crissel). Special thanks to Pedro at the reception and Adnan and Joel at the lobby entrance. The breakfast was very good and the rest of the food was ok.

Klimaanlage war kaput und die verwaltung hat einfach dass Thema a ignoriert. Frühstucken war ein Stuhlen Spielt, Schnell dein Essen abholen nachdem in eine Schlange warten für einem Tisch ansonsten jemand anders nimmt dein Tisch , wenn du auf einen Omelett wartest , sicher du müss auf andere neue Tisch warten und neue Getränke bestellen. Künstoff glässer. Nicht ganz mexikanisch gerrichte, sicher eine „Fiesta americana :)“ nicht empfehlenswert.

Es war ein sehr schönes, leider zu kurzes Wochenend. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke

Ein wunderschönes Hotel an einem schönen Strand. Das Hotel ist elegant, sehr gepflegt und angenehm gestaltet. Was mich gestört hat, war die viel zu laute Musik, und zwar aus den Lautsprechern aussen neben den Pfaden, man muss fast den ganzen Tag die laute Salsa ertragen, die natürlich auch im Zimmer hörbar ist. Laute Salsa und Rumba auch in Restaurants, unerträglich. Die Bedienung in dern Restaurants ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, aber sie übertreiben auch. Sie kommen meistens alle paar Minuten und fragen wie es mir geht ! Ziemlich nervig.

I would deduct 1 Star for the food, but the overall experience was great so I won't. The Room was perfect, the service outstanding. The Hotel in really good condition. The beach fantastic. We were worried at first, because most positive reviews came from americans, but this hotel can absolutely live up to european standards. The food is difficult. The decision from the hotel not to have a buffet is terrible. The Dinner Restaurants all served really not tasty food. The food experience from all dinner restaurants was bad, so we tried to use the afternoon kitchens which were great and the Room Service, which delivered fantastic food. The Tex Mex Buffet on Thursdays and the breakfast was really good as well. So as I said, usually this could make a bad experience, if you are not flexible, but the hotel was fantastic. The hotel wasn't fully booked oput, so we never had a problem getting a sunbed at the beach, but I can understand, that people are mad, that two thirds of all potential beach space is taken by cabanas that the hotel sells for $85 a day on top. This is a crazy rip off. Agin, we were not affected by this, so no star deduction. In high season this would probably something that we were furious about as well.

Fantastischer Spa, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, sehr gutes Essen von hoher Qualität. Sehr schöne Zimmer. Besser geht es nicht!
