« The location was lovely and peaceful. My room overlooked the garden where the many and varied birds and red squirrels came to feed. The room itself was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated, with a decent sized en suite bathroom. Very comfortable. Corrine provided a kind welcome and delicious breakfasts, served in a spacious and clean conservatory. « Stayed for 4 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Traditional looking but with modern facilities. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge. The village is quiet & peaceful just outside of Keswick. The real bonus is the private garden with comfy sofas. Parking is tight but we did have a wide car & it was nice to have it on the driveway. Good communication and able to self check in. »

« I stayed Monday to Friday as I was working in Whitehaven. Kitchen had everything I needed, bed was comfy, nice reclining sofasvand good wifi. House was well located, took a stroll to the castle in the evening and the co-op supermarket v. close, quite big and with a good selection. »

Quick walk into town with lots of options for food, drink, and entertainment. Short 30 mins drive to Buttermere for fantastic hiking. Thanks for a perfect stay! »
