« If you are allergic to a cat, there is a lot of cats… I booked through Expedia. Upon arrival, the front desk couldn’t find my reservation and insisted on creating a new one with my card. After much insistence, they located it but had no room ready, forcing me to wait.
Placed in a room with a strong urine smell (likely dog) in the bathroom. No room number signs in the hallway, and the same odor was in the main first-floor bathroom. No Wi-Fi password provided.
Breakfast was okay. Photos on Expedia...

« The hotel has not been updated, and it would’ve been fine, if it was clean, but it wasn’t. There are stains on the carpet, we found someone else’s sock under the bed, the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were broken and stained, the tub was lined with mold, and the sink looked like it was falling off the wall. As we were checking in, another guest was complaining about it raining in her room (it was raining outside). You also cannot flush the toilet before showering. I will never stay here again. »

« Fabulous property that feels like a remote getaway but has lovely amenities and nice touches of rustic luxury. This hotel is 5 years old but feels brand new. The restaurant is excellent. The included breakfast buffet is one of the very best I’ve ever had. They are building a spa near the lake. The hike around the lake is peaceful. Will definitely be back to this hotel. »
