„We had a great time in Lake Placid. The apartment is beautiful, clean and perfect for our family of 4. It was only a 5 minute drive to the busy downtown restaurant and shops. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning since we were there for a lacrosse tournament in the summer. They had fans and it cooled down pretty well in the evening. I understand that air conditioning isn’t needed for the majority of the year in Lake Placid. This owners seemed great too - We would definitely ...

„My wife and I stayed her for our trip to Lake Placid. It was absolutely incredible! Quaint, perfectly sized and very adequate for all of our needs, including making breakfast every morning. It had everything we needed and it was the PERFECT location. Walking distance to many attractions, including Mirror Lake activities, as well as trail heads, restaurants and shops. We also met the owners (and their grandson) and they were very respectful and accommodating.“

„Excellent stay. Apt is very nice. All was clean and ready for us upon arrival. They provided extra towels as requested. And very generous with offering help and enjoying his dock and kayaks. Perfectly manageable walk into town but there is a fully functioning kitchen if you prefer to eat at home. Loved the grill and hot tub!“

„We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cozy, comfortable home. Very clean, very well taken care of, and enjoyable decor. Instructions and communication with landlord very easy and clear. We appreciated having the variety of amenities to be easily able to prepare our own food. A great space for our family of 4. Very convenient location, just a short walk over the hill through a lovely neighborhood to get to town. Highly recommend this place! “

"Unser Zimmer lag am Ende des Ganges, hier kam nur ein sehr geringer Teilnder Frischluft an, so dass wir drei Tage in unserem eigenen "Mief" verbringen mussten ohne ausreichende Sauerstoffzufuhr. Wir mussten daher mehrmals die Zimmertür zum Flur öffnen, um nicht zu ersticken. Die Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen. Auch wurde die feuchte Luft nach dem Duschen nicht abgesaugt, so dass die Feuchtigkeit am Spülkasten der Toilette kondensierte und Fützen auf dem Boden bildete. Die Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer war auch nicht in Ordnung. Schön war die Außenanlage mit tollen Sitzmöglichkeiten am See."
