« Loved the beach and sandy lake bottom. Didn’t like being right on highway 60, lots of traffic noise. The kitchen was very dark and the light over the sink wasn’t working. Everyone had to walk through the main bedroom to use the only shower, the hosts left their bar of soap, toothbrush and paste and a razor. « We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. The property was clean and everything we needed was there even on cooler nights. We had to clean the side of the water a little since a lot of seeweed was there but overall it was great. We enjoyed some kayak on a super calm lake. Little town near by where we went to get evetables that we needed. All our family really enjoyed our stay and definitly will recommend this cute paradise. »

« Everything was as described. All amenities worked well. Beautiful view and a private beach. A two minute drive to Calabogie golf course was a bonus (and a fantastic course at that!). Quick and easy communication with the host. We will very likely be back in the future. »

« The lodge is well equipped, all we needed to bring with us was food. It has a very nice view of the lake and a wide private beach - great for family with kids or elders. What is also good for kids and elders is the shallow water: 50 meters from shore it still won't go above the waist. »

« The location was excellent. Daryl was very responsive to all our inquiries. The only thing is that the play structure in the photos was no longer there and we had kids with us. Swimming was good except for the little ones as the shallow side was pretty weedy. Overall all of us loved the place and would recommend it. « Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views.
