„Wanted to get out of toronto for a few nights before the kids went back to school. Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .“

„The place was better than we expected when we got there. The property is beautiful and the house is spacious with everything you need. The back deck overlooking the creek and forest really takes you out of the city but with the convenience of being a 5 min walk to stores and restaurants. The host was very responsive and accomodating. We did find the place to be quite cold and the steps going upstairs are very steep. Overall the place is lovely and quiet and we had a lovely stay.“

„This was an amazing vacation. Fire pit, lake and stars at night were my highlight. The cottage has everything you need and a town is just a few minutes away if you need groceries or do not feel like cooking :) This place is dog friendly and there is plenty of room for them to play and swim. „This was our first time renting a cabin in Ontario. It held up to our expectations it was clean and the perfect size for our get away. The owners were helpful and responded in a timely fashion when we had a small issue. This cabin had everything you need. We liked that they thought about putting in some some amenities that maybe forgotten (eg tea, coffee, spices). We loved that it was dog ready with a dog towel, poop bags, pegs for the dogs. „Exceptionally clean and well stocked. Nice extras like a hot tub and BBQ. Also lake access and kayaks (we didn't use). It is in a great area with lots of natural features nearby, such as Lake Eugenia and the Bruce Trail.“

„My husband and I wanted a little spot to rest while visiting all of the beautiful places around the area. This little place was the perfect size for our needs. It was pretty cold, so we weren't able to enjoy the lovely firepit or the grill outside, but we enjoyed the cozy indoor fireplace and sitting in front of it in the evenings while we unwound from a day of adventure. „Just want everyone to know this is a basement suite! But it is very large. No one stayed above us during our stay. The owner was super easy to communicate with and contact. Lots of room. Tons of games and things to do if you bring children. Definitely a great stay for summer as well!!! Would definitely come back for a summer stay on the water. 9/10 experience“

„Fantastic property for a family getaway. Lots of room in the cottage for family activities and beautiful outdoor spaces for outdoor fun. Early spring visit so not alot of opportunity to use the outdoors but a sunny day provided a great opportunity to explore it. “
