« My son and i usually go backpacking every year to a new National Park and stay in a tent. My back wouldn't allow that this year but we didn't want a hotel. This place was perfect, and what a step up from a tent. Totally secluded up on a mountain with a killer view. Two mattresses, coffee machine with coffee and he supplied water. « I highly recommend this property for a family. We stayed with our family of four in the Hunter cabin. It was recently renovated, very clean, and well maintained. The beds and pillows were newer too. It had four twin beds upstairs and a queen bed in the downstairs area. The cabin also had a fully stocked kitchen with a stove top, mini fridge, and microwave. (Note: There is a grocery store at the turn off of 3 to Talkeetna, but it is quite expensive. If you plan to cook, I’d buy most of the food...
