Ensuite shower leaking, on arrival told not to useDownstairs lounge could not be used due to shower leakStained lounge carpet, Wooden toilet seats damagedDamage to pool side area, broken tiles and brickwork, broken glass on patio, Both Pool ladders damaged and dangerous, Broken poolside loungers, Ripped lounger cushions, Broken poolside chair, Broken / damaged garden tables, Broken poolside umbrellas and standsRipped and dirty awning, Hose used to refill pool in disgusting dirty state, Garden hedges unkeptLarge parts of garden no longer grassed due to non maintenance, VRBO advised by Host with photos but no action takenGood points: Nice large bedrooms, great wardrobes, clean throughout house and useful to have use of two fridge freezers. Kitchen well equipped. Aircon worked throughout. Clean bath / shower towels, but Pool towels not provided, 3-4 good restaurants within 5 min walk and an Irish Pub. Uber taxi service reliableBe-aware: Whilst useful to have refuse / recycling points across the road, can be noisy at times when in public use and daily emptying, House is single glazed alongside a busy noisy road, Recently built W Algarve hotel across the road increasing traffic and noise with a couple of hours daily loud music from guest yogas / wellness sessions.
