„wasn't worth the money paid , had a suite and my ocean view was also next to a building with birds and poop. there was very loud music from 2 areas that played at the same time, and a kitchen was under my suite and I heard dishes and pots clanking at 1 am !!! food wasn't good I ate eggs for 4 days :( the $100 hold wasn't released for a month !“

„The property is getting a little run down , roof tiles loose or missing , broken light fixtures , I have been staying here for about 10 years , and it’s always been well maintained , the last year it’s gone down hill , Also this was my 20th visit and still they greeted us with “ is this your first time staying here “? „This was a return visit, which means we liked the previous stay, and happy to say that hotel has only improved its services since then. Grounds kept in excellent condition. Staff very courteous and friendly and helpful. Amazing beach and great service. The buffet food is only good for breakfast, stick to beach/pool service during the day and eat a la carte dinner (or better yet, go to Sunset for dinner). We will be back again!“

„In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit einem nicht vorhandenen Top-Hotel Anspruch! Zimmer Ok aber nicht mehr! Zu beginn sehr aggressives marketing mit Angeboten für eine Club Mitgliedschaft! Fehlende Wartung an Aufzügen und Sanitären Anlagen. Mehrer Tage keine Papier Handtücher auf den Toiletten am Pool. Drei Tage keinen Kamillentee beim Frühstück, aber im Coco Caffee vorhanden. Zusammenfassend: ganz OK, aber nicht mehr! “

„We had a good stay. Clean, quiet and very safe with a 24 hour gated entrance. One thing I wish I knew is Grand Solmar and Solmar Resort are two different resorts that are side by side. The photos you see with the infinity pools are the Grand Solmar and that one is triple the price. Solmar resort has one medium size pool and a hot tub.
