« This was a great place. In the country but very easy access to Gettysburg and surrounding area. Our hosts left snacks and drinks for our use. Every morning and evening we enjoyed either the front porch or back patio. There was even fire wood and kindling for the backyard firepit.Don't know if we'll return to Gettysburg but if we do, we would stay here again without hesitation. »

« The property was awesome! Beautiful old farmhouse steps from the battlefield, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Check-in was easy, and was granted a late check- out when requested. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a true Gettysburg experience! »

« Pepe, meme, 3 kids and their spouses, 5 grandbabies (oldest, 4 year old)We did tiny town, sight & sound, Dutch Wonderland. Lancaster really is a nice, humble, pleasant place to visit. Relaxing for sure. Our VRBO stay was better than expected. Great beds. Comfortable, lots of pillows, clean and charming. Michael, the caretaker went way out of his way to help us. « It was the most stunning surprise as we walked into this richly decorated, most beautiful home. Check in and communication with the host ensured ease of the process. We took full advantage of the fully equiped home and and kitchen and never left after our arrival as we ate meals in the garden and dinner in the dining room. The beds are so comfortable and the sheets were top quality. We enjoyed the weekend so much we are booking for next year. »

« Our stay at this beautiful home was great! The host stopped by to greet us shortly after our arrival and was very attentive. The rooms were larger than we imaged from the pictures. The welcome book included directions for check out. We would definitely recommend this home for a relaxing country setting. »

« We absolutely LOVE this farmhouse! Its so spacious and its a welcome trip back in time! Its decorated with items from the past and theres so much nostalgia. The handwritten notes from what i believe was the homeowner and a teacher are simply endearing, from the recipies and more! My kids talk about this house to no end and it was our 2nd year in a row. This year we also celebrated my fathers 79 bd. Communication with the owner is top notch! We will definitely stay at this house for years...

« Beautiful and spacious property. We used this for our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding pictures, bridal suite, etc. it had plenty of room for out of town family and friends. The kids appreciated the outside area and game room. The upstairs rooms were a little warm at night, could use a few fans! Plenty of space and utensils in kitchen. Enough towels and blankets. Great location on the river! Elvin is responsive and kind. The Clark Family appreciates you letting us use your wonderful home! »

« Beautifully remodeled farmhouse with everything you need! Great location, closer to Seven Points Marina than we thought, close to town for grocery shopping and getting frozen custard at The Meadows! Plus, a bottle of wine to welcome us was an added treat to enjoy with our dinners. We will definitely be returning in the future! »
