„Loved the rooms! Enjoyed the views of the lake and the quaint downtown area. It was a very quiet and enjoyable stay. I gave it 4 stars only because the sofa was so hard and uncomfortable. We stayed in 2 nights to watch the Brewers play (YAY!) but it was very difficult to get comfortable on the sofa and no amount of throw pillows could change that. That being said, the bed was a dream and the kitchen well appointed. Would I stay there again? Maybe if the sofa was swapped out.“

Everything is very conveniently located you can walk to most places in Ashland right from the place. The apartment is pretty basic with kitchen items, but enough to do what you need to do. A peaceful place to land at the end of busy days of exploring the Bayfield and Apostle Islands area. I recommend the Carriage House!“

„The room was pleasant and clean. Great location and we loved the separate sleeping nook. There is a huge closet but no place to hang clothes so definitely room for improvement there. We had some difficulty getting the door to open at one point and had to call the host who walked us through it. The exterior door knob was coming loose.
