« Great stay. Wonderful breakfast. Very helpful staff. Bed was oriented such that the door was higher than the head so we slept with our heads at the foot. »

« This is the second time I have stayed at the Oaklander. The first time there were stains all over my sheets. They were changed. This time the pillows were wrinkled and did not smell fresh. I had to request new pillow cases. It’s a beautiful hotel but when they tell you they are inspecting your room before you go in beware, you better inspect it yourself. Housekeeping was very courteous when they changed the pillow cases. One bright point. Very disappointing for such a beautiful hotel. »

« Great staff, lovely atmosphere, beautiful building. No denying this is a wonderful hotel!! Arguably the best Hotel Downtown… But the cracks are starting to show (literally). I hope the management spend their budgets looking after the place, when it’s gone it’s gone. »

« Late arroval with 2 huge luggage's and the person at the desk give us a room at the 3rd level... without elevator !!! We reclam to use one who go only at the second floor! Then the A/C in the room 1304 make a noise! It looks like sleeping near a plane! horrible! And the windows are not double glazing so with the road in front it was a disaster! We were so enthousiastic by seeing the pictures and at the end so deeply disappointed. »
