« Amazing place and extremely good value. As others have mentioned, Fred and the front team at Hotel Mar/Don Taco where you check in are really nice and helpful, they take you around to the secluded house that is owned by the brother of the hotel owner. You can park on site for free and it’s safe. 400m down to town where nice restaurants are available. Close by shops also for everything you need. « The location is beautiful as advertised. Beautiful views and a nice club house with a pool. Great place to kick back and enjoy. Taniya is great to work with. Just make sure she has your cell so you can text back and forth. Only thing is to make sure the fans are in the living room. It can get a bit toasty. But the ac units in the bedrooms were amazing. « Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna! »

« Clean and safe location. Located near all of the tourist activities but quite far from town and would require a vehicle. Host was wonderful to communicate with, hot water stopped working and it was fixed within minutes by staff. Overall excellent stay I would book again. »
