« The cabin was perfect for our trip. Old friends having a wee reunion/catch up. Everything we needed was there on arrival. The beds were clean and comfortable, there was adequate space, crockery, cutlery, etc. Watch out for slippy decking due to wet and leaves but that’s common sense. Fab retreat, quiet and restful. »

« Cabin very nice and well located near the Loch awe. The jacuzzi and the access to the Loch are magical. You could see the ducks walk along the terrace at night ! Just a little bit noisy because you are in a sort of camping but it worth it. »

« This is a beautiful little lodge in a peaceful setting. It is clean and provides everything needed for a stay.The hot tub was perfect.There is so much to do in the surrounding area- be prepared for driving but it is wonderful countryside to drive through.Alternatively you could sit and enjoy the view, go swimming in Loch Eck or walk any of the trials nearby. »

« Nice cabin. Could have been cleaner inside and on balcony. Felt very small inside for four people. we stayed for two nights before this cabin in a neighbouring cabin which was bigger, cleaner, up to date, had a hot tub, and was much cheaper so we didn’t think this cabin was as good a deal as it wasn’t cheap. Beautiful surroundings. Felt private too. »

« The cabin has fantastic views across the loch, and we loved the mezzanine room where we watched the moon reflecting in the water. It was well equipped and the beds were comfortable (although the property details listed a washing machine which we could not find). « We were advised to use the private residents access road and it was in a disgusting state full of pot holes some very deep that the car dipped, loose gravel and my partner was worried about what it was doing to his car when using it. The main bedroom the wardrobe would not open, the doors were stuck so had to use twin room unit, the bathroom especially the shower door kept coming off their runners so had to keep one closed and squeeze in and the toilet was quite low down so anyone with mobility...

« Such a unique place to stay, and exactly what I wanted. It’s built on stilts into the side of a hill, just above a fabulous Inn. Walking distance (400m ish) from Lochawe train station. It’s not a hotel, so for the nightly cost if you want a hotel this isn’t it. But the view and location if you want to be at peace, in nature with the most incredible views and backdrop, this is it. « The pod was small but comfortable. It was a little crowded with our luggage and it would have been nice to be able to push our luggage under the bed when not in use. The host provided a french press and coffee and sugar. No salt and pepper or cooking oils were provided if you are planning on cooking any meals. « My wife and I spent a week here with our dog and found it a gorgeous spot to stay which we all enjoyed. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, the cabin had all the amenities that you might want and the loch side location is amazing. The only warming is to mind your head in the cabin! The location was 10/10, as we had amazing views of Loch Lomond and it was ideally placed, in the centre of the village, where everything is within short walking distance. « A perfect little weekend 3 night stay with my wife, our 3 boys and 2 dogs. The cabin was spotless, wonderfully cosy and rustic. The weather was appauling, windy and raining non-stop for the whole weekend, but it was the perfect little bolt hole to feel safe from the elements inside by the roaring wood burner.
