The place was nothing like the photos. The buildings common spaces were filthy. This apartment was so poorly lit and dingy compared to the bright photos listed.The bedroom carpet was filthy. I immediately reached out to the owner and voiced my concerns. He said he would not refund anything. I offered him that he could charge a couple of nights for the inconvenience.He refused to refund . We lost a 10 day rental. He even charged us extra for our pet cat that never even entered the property and that was another 270 which he also would not refund. We checked out within 10 min of arrival. VRBO customer service has not responded. They just went silent after i opened a case with them and after i followed up they said it would take a couple of days. Its been 2 weeks and not even an email from VRBO. Absolutely shameful customer service.in the mea time i kep getting ai generated auto emails from the host that he hoped i was enjoying my stay at the property.
