„The place was immaculate and somehow much larger than expected. The sleeping area was huge! Also, the HH features a truly full and full-sized kitchen. Plenty of counter space, oven with a large range top and a full-sized fridge. A great set up for doing your own cooking. A great place to get away and enjoy nature. We had about a dozen deer in the yard each night and saw elk nearby every day of our stay. Would absolutely stay here again.“

„You cannot stay any closer to the Winslow Hill Elk Observation area. Wonderfully comfortable and rustic at the same time. Made good use of the grill. The deer were often in the backyard and morning was filled with bird song. Great getaway opportunity and easy to set up.“

The owners collect rainwater so it's not intended for consumption. Next, communication with the property manager through Vrbo email was a bit difficult...when I initially reserved the property I checked off how many children and their ages. This manager reached out a couple days prior saying the tree house is not ...

„Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!!“

Chris was a most gracious host and went out of his way to make our experience a wonderful one, this is a great place to spend some quality time with family & friends.
