It was what it was.
This property is managed by a property management company. They were responsive to communications (and we appreciated that), but seem to have had no flexibility about anything outside policy. Written responses were all pro forma and impersonal.Checking in was a disaster. The door-lock mechanisms did not work and it took a long time late in the evening to contact the management. It was frustrating trying to resolve the locking/unlocking mechanism over the phone. I felt sorry for the agent, who did her best to resolve the matter with limited means and obviously not located anywhere near the unit, and was pretty upset myself. The unit (an apartment) was clean and comfortable, but it is located along the busy state road that runs through Baldwin. There was really nothing outside -- no lawn or seating area. It was basically a place to sleep.So, after resolving the entry issues, it was ok. Nothing bad; nothing special.
