„Cosy, beautifully equipped cottage. Modern and well furnished in excellent order. Off road parking to rear of property. Excellent communication from owners with information on local amenities within the property. The White House pub serves excellent food and we would recommend this as a place to eat with great views. The property is close to the road and you do notice some commuter traffic noise in the morning if you live in a quiet area. Shops etc are a car trip. Would recommend.“

„Das Cottage braucht dringend Investitionen in die Ausstattung. Die Sofas sind beispielsweise fleckig und durchgesessen. Der Teppich sieht sehr verbraucht aus. Die Handtücher waren grenzwertig verfleckt mit Bleiche und nicht näher zu definierenden braunen Flecken. Drei Lampen hatten defekte Glühbirnen als wir ankamen. Auch funktionell gab es Defizite. Die Türe im einen Bad schließt nicht. In einem der Schlafzimmer schließt die Türe auch nicht. Beide Bäder können nicht zeitgleich benutzt werden. ...

„Becca and Tony made us feel very welcome, both before arrival and during our stay. The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. Some of the automatic, sensor lights seemed to take a bit of working out with some switches not in an obvious place.Tip: Take or buy a rubber mat for the shower rooms, especially if mobility is an issue.Very quiet and dark at night.“

„Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.“

„Property was very nicely decorated with a cosy feel with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Location was great - nice and rural, but close to Tideswell and Monsel Head. In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again. “

„The Old Dairy was as advertised and the farm itself is very pretty. The location is well situated in the Peak and easy to get to various towns and walks. Getting back and forth to Sheffield is under 30 minutes as well. The host was very communicative and when we left a jumper behind - posted it back to us the next day. We would definitely return to the farm.“
