„The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.“

„Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area.“

„Two separate electrical faults. One caused a flame to shoot out the wall melting the wires in the kitchen socket, the other melted the wires in the immersion heater meaning no hot water for several days. A door fell off in the kitchen, and the upstairs landing storage heater wires had been cut and disconnected so it was freezing upstairs at night. I was told by the electrician that came out several times that the owner of the property liked to ‘tinker’ with the electrics hence the botched up ...

„From booking the holiday with Keswick Cottages to leaving, everything was so easy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The app is a great idea and a really useful thing to have. The info on the fire, cooker and bin collections wasn't correct for the property so needs a little review but this in no way spoiled anything. The property was lovely and comfortable, home from home. „Spacious property, within walking distance of town. Did report that bins were overflowing outside with black bags piled high both on the floor and on top of the bins on two occasions (appeared bins had not been cleared for weeks). Some areas of 5he property were a little dusty otherwise clean. The kitchen is rather small for a property of its size making it a bit difficult to have more than one person using it at a time, and bath a bit tight to get in/out of. Beds comfy.“
