« The cabin was laid out very well. The porch was great to sit, drink coffee and watch the turtles in the water. Fishing right in front of the cabin was great. We loved the convenience of Circle M Crawfish being across the street for lunch or dinner. We will def be back! »

« Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. « I really think the cabin needs new pillows. Otherwise, we enjoyed it and appreciated all the little special touches. »

« There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. »

« We absolutley loved our stay in the Barn Loft! The property is beautiful, and well maintained. The attention to detail and personal touch were a welcome surprise! The owners are the sweetest couple and made is feel right at home❤ »

« I was looking for a few days of weekday retreat and found it. There were a few other guests on the property but it still was quiet and peaceful. If you're looking for an escape from Dallas Fort Worth that's not an all day drive then this is it! »

« Truly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful. Just a few suggestions. Replace grill grate...the one we used was pretty warped. Rugs needed vacuuming/washed. Cabin had a pretty musty smell. The tub needs a mat asap. Randy fell just turning around in it. Extremely slippery. »

« Everything was great except figuring out which cabin we were staying in. Need to have cabin name on it or a number on it. We had other guest stopping at our cabin trying to find out where their cabin was .The cabin was so cute. Loved the whole experience. Met Cindy that cleans the cabins. She was very helpful and nice. »
