« Perfect location right on the trail - which is beautiful. walking/running/biking. The location allows the ability to walk anywhere you need downtown, which is a little sleepy but cute nonetheless. We weren't ready for the trains, which arrived every hour to two hours throughout the night, as the railroad is just a couple of hundred feet away—(Sunday night stay - not sure if this matters, which night of the week). »

« Great place to stay for the Polar Express! Close and in a really cute little town with a lot of shops and restaurants in walking distance. As it’s an aesthetic grandma-core dream, it’s not the most kid-friendly (beautiful art and lamps everywhere), but also totally doable. Stayed with two mom friends and our five kids and had a blast! »

We took a few “day trips” to nearby attractions and ate at several restaurants in town, such good food!!!! »

« well, the host was very nice, the area i rented was very nice. there was a small make shift kitchen, the bathroom was very nice. the whole place was very clean and organized. that being said, it was not at all what i thought i was renting. this is a furnished basement in a house where people live. i thought vrbo specialized in whole property rentals. i was trying to get away from people and i could hear them walking overhead. this put a big damper on my vacation. i paid a lot of money (to me)...

« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. After that you are out of luck. There...
