Hôtel South Shore, Blackpool

« Cleanliness of the room was spot on, comfortable bed. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Receptionist was very helpful, all staff in bar/restaurant always with a smile and helped to our needs. Cleaners was lovely and say good morning with a smile. This hotel made my mother and myself very comfortable throughout our 2 nights stay. Car park is a little pricey but it's very secure. »

« Friendly staff extremely comfortable bed everything we needed! Had to.pay extra to park the car but at least we could park. Lovely hotel will stay again »

« Property location is good just 6 min walk to south pier. Staff is excellent. Beds spring mattress were just ok »

« Rapport qualité prix convenable hors-saison. personnel disponible. Hôtel un peu vieux, assez loin du centre ville à pied (prévoir taxis ou transports publics). »

« Had a very pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room spotless and modern. All round a lovely stay and good value for money. Will be returning »

« Staff very nice very helpful treat like family room was also very nice really recommended Thank you 🙏 »

« Nice hotel, dated but functional and clean. It is in a good location near the pleasure beach and shops, cafes etc. great breakfast cafe on the same street. Owners are lovely and very helpful. Excellent value for the room rate. »

« I just felt at home... not much more to say. Im really bad with names but the landlady was so lovely, welcoming, helpful and informative. Fair enough, the place has a few smalls quirks, but its completely forgivable... homely, nostalgic and peaceful, I personally had a perfect stay. »

« Clean and tidy was good as a base we just slept there and spent most the time out. Sofa bed was uncomfortable as 2 metal bars run down the middle either change or provide a mattress topper. Could have had a sea view but double glazing in window had gone so window was just cloudy. Could walk to central and south excellent location. Would stay there again. »

« Great hosts. Very impressed with the room. Clean, spacious and cozy with the sea view. Would definitely recommend if you visiting Blackpool »

« Nice »

« Great hotel, not the most modern but it serves its purpose, it smelt lovely when i walking in with air freshener, it smelt like the room had been throughly cleaned, the bedsheet was annoying and fell off the bed and could of done with some extra tea supplies and pillows however housekkeeping did privide extra towels, there was quite a bit of noise downstairs during dinner time and the entertaintment area until quite late, i would advise having breakfast before 9am as after 9am it was pure...

« Cordelia was pleasant, helpful, friendly and nothing wad too much trouble. She was the perfect hostess. The location is perfect, the rooms were comfortable and clean. We will definitely be returning in October. »

« Location was great. Refreshing sea-view, on the promenade, 2minute walk to the beach. No breakfast, but that’s okay. Staff were not very helpful.. when I complained about the heating and hot water not working properly.. maybe it was on a timer, but our room was chilly. »
