„Stayed here for 4 nights, during our move out of the area. Home is comfortable and our daughter loved the kid touches. The basket of toys and books were so much fun for her. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are well appointed. Two minor downsides, the kitchen showed some remnants of bugs. The owner said she was going to call pest control, but this was obviously missed by the cleaning crew. Additionally, there is quite a walk from where you park (near the garage) to the front door. ...

„We enjoyed our stay primarily for the cleanliness and location. It is across from a cemetery, but that didn’t bother us. Quiet neighbors, my husband said. But we loved the covered side porch and the comfy bed. Only down sides were the bathroom was very small, especially the shower, and the floors are pretty uneven, which would be a challenge for older guests (including the steep and slippery stairs up to the primary bedroom). „Rented the property for my daughter’s graduation from ECU. So glad we picked this tranquil spot to stay rather than the city! The house has lots of space, the kitchen is well stocked with essentials, and the view from the living room is spectacular! Most of our time was spent sitting in the yard just talking! Enjoyed sun rises on the pier and some fishing, even though the fish weren’t biting much!“

„This clean and cozy VRBO is positioned perfectly within historical downtown Newbern. The Tryon Palace is directly across the street. Atlantic beach is 45 minutes away. You are in walking distance to many different types of restaurants. It was a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. We will be staying here again.“
