I am extremely disappointed with my first experience using Vrbo. My group traveled from both Texas and Alaska, and upon arriving at our cabin, we discovered there was no running water—an essential amenity.We promptly requested a comparable replacement, but after waiting over an hour, we were directed to a cabin that was significantly lower in quality and value. To make matters worse, it was located more than 20 minutes away, costing us a substantial portion of our day and adding unnecessary stress to our trip.We had invested a great deal of time selecting the perfect cabin based on its mountain view, amenities, comfort, and overall ambiance. Unfortunately, the replacement property failed to meet any of those expectations.I requested a full refund due to these major inconveniences and was denied. I then attempted to reach a reasonable compromise by asking for a partial refund, but that has also not been addressed.This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I expected a higher standard of service and accountability, and I sincerely hope this is not reflective of the experience Vrbo intends to provide its customers.
