A great Property

Cool, funky beach house!

We loved this house! The decor is awesome. You can tell this is someone’s beach getaway and they love it. Great views from multiple windows. Yes, it’s a bit dated, but everything works and the house is very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook great meals. The laundry is so great to have on site. The place was very clean. The house is located in a great community where we’ve stayed before. We’ll definitely be staying again. Book with confidence!

Short Review

With one exception, everything about the property was perfect. The one exception is that we had a very difficult time getting the front door to open each time we entered the code. I believe that the mechanism is in need of some adjustment or repair. Given the condition of the property overall, I am confident that this will be addressed immediately.

Getaway trip

The property was as advertised. Very clean and tidy. everything you need in the kitchen for whipping up breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are tea drinkers and could find no kettle, but everthing else including a full spice cupboard was there. We'd definately stay again

Follow thru

Woke up Friday and 7 year old grandson said he saw a mouse in bathroom. Didn’t give it much thought till I saw a mouse in kitchen about 5 pm on Friday Called the 800 number and was told local rep would call me in 15 minutes. No call at 7 pm my wife calls back and gets hung up on. I call back at 8 pm and am told someone will call me by 9 am Saturday. I rummage thru garage and find 5 mice traps I set them all and catch 2 mice sometime before 7 am Saturday. Took pictures and sent to Vacas reply was thanks for the pictures. I finally had enough and I called the 800 number and spoke to a guy in Florida. I told Him the issue isn’t really the mice but the lack of a phone call back to have Vacasa fix the issue not me. I have a vacation rental in Tahoe and never would this happen. I would fire the rental agency. So caught 3 mice by Saturday night and no more Still waiting for that local rep phone call

Not really near the beach

This is a lovely, large home with great beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The neighboring houses are close and the area has the feel of a subdivision rather than a neighborhood. There are plenty of hikes and beaches nearby, but only within driving distance. There were some cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and dirty placemats, but otherwise it was quite clean. My sister loved the place and plans to go again with her adult kids.

Lovely Location Enjoyable Home

Bodega Bay is a beautiful section of the coast, great hiking and views. The location of this house is great - two trail heads in easy walking distance, both take you on trails that wander down to the ocean. The water views are pretty, with the morning fog moving in and out of the shoreline. The bright pink blanket of flowers surrounding the house was lovely and inviting. The house inside was comfortable and “friendly” with cozy furnishings amid much eclectic varied shore art - great for a relaxing fun getaway. While the house had a very clean kitchen, bathrooms, and such, we deducted stars for the light layer of dust that was noticeable on several furniture surfaces. We advised the rental agent right after we left, so it could be attended to — an easy fix. Would we stay again? Yes.

Spacious well-located house with stunning views!

We enjoyed our stay at the Pinnacle Peak house. We enjoyed hiking, beach combing, wine tasting, good restaurant meals in Bodega Bay and browsing art galleries in the town of Bodega. Furnishings were nice and the kitchen was especially well-appointed. The only glitch was the front door lock. The keyless lock didn't work well and we ended up having to contact Vacasa who helped us access a key which was better but the lock was still problematic. It needs to be repaired or replaced.

Overall a PLUS with some comments

Generally this is a nice property in a great location. The set-up could have been more user friendly like instructions for TV, dishwasher and maps and area details in an easy-to-find location. We had to move a small piece of furniture and found quite a bit of dirt underneath, Many of the dishes in cupboards were unclean and had to be washed before use. Those small things add a degree of frustration that a vacationer is looking to avoid.

Sibling Retreat

Four siblings aged 70+ found the property perfect for our mini vacation. Property is all one level with three large bedrooms and two bathrooms, large living room with multiple sofas and a wrap around window with a view of the ocean! What more could we ask 😁The kitchen table also gave us a two-sided ocean view and the golf course to enjoy with our coffee and breakfast. We definitely recommend this property for anyone who wants to relax and partake in conversations with others in your party.

Reunion getaway

6 friends. We loved the view, the kitchen was well outfitted, the beds were comfortable. Two used the recliners, which could have gone back further, but were adequate. We felt cozy and enjoyed the property. The water heater should be turned down a little, because one could get scalded if they aren't careful.

Bodega Bay Serenity

Comfortable home in a serene neighborhood with views of the bay. Easy access to hiking trails and good eats. We enjoyed ourselves and would consider coming back. Suggestions which were communicated to hosts was to provide a fee basic food items such as packets of mayo, mustard, ketchup and butter. Had to make a store run for these basics.
