« The Mandarin Oriental Munich definitely lives up to its reputation. The hotel is beautiful, the staff very attentive (the most attentive in all Mandarin Orientals we have stayed in), the room very comfortable (amazing bed and pillows), and the Rooftop terrace is a must. The Matsuhisa restaurant is also excellent and a very different experience and delightful change from beer and sausages! »
« We loved this hotel! The staff members were great and accommodating. The rooms were cool (AC) and the location couldn't be any better. It was relatively quiet most of the time but that was hit or miss. Some nights we could open the windows with no noise and others it was quite noisy. But if we kept the windows shut there was no noise at all. Overall we loved our stay at this hotel and would stay again if we return! »
"Warmly welcomed upon check-in and was grateful for the courtesy dental kit after discovering Iâd forgotten my toothpaste. Very small rooms and not enough hooks to hang towels. Didnât love how housekeeping moved my things to put the replacement towels on the sink when they could have been placed elsewhere. Slept horribly because the room was so stuffy and the airco wouldnât properly turn on and stay on, and the noise from the train station across the street made it impossible to just leave the window open at night. Also the shower leaked onto the floor and soaked the floor mat. Had to carefully calibrate the water pressure to avoid flooding the room a third time. Also while I was asleep a wall hanging crashed onto my bedside table, which was incredibly disruptive. "
"Hotel without any charm. Basic - rather small - business rooms. The bed is not very comfortable. The shower is too small and not pleasant. Breakfast is good. You forget the hotel 5 minutes after having checked out. "
