Teppichboden und Bett mit Plüsch ist nicht so hygienisch. Da auch Hunde in den Zimmern übernachten dürfen. Für Tierhaarallergiker nicht zu empfehlen. Das Essen im Restaurant hervorragend. Das Personal immer sehr höflich und hilfsbereit.

Friendly and helpful staff, very convenient for the Brighton Marina area (which was where I needed to be). A large Asda supermarket, and a ton of restaurants in easy walking distance. Good, frequent, GBP 2 bus service into Brighton itself if that's where you need to be.

Fabulous weekend. Parking free and convenient in local marina stack. Short walk to hotel which sits in the marina amid eateries and bars. Lovely greeting and easy check-in. Room clean and practical, breakfast superb- served cooked plates and generous continental and impressive coffee machine. We enjoyed eve cocktails and late nightcap on return from Brighton Centre show in the welcoming and attractive bar area. All staff happy and friendly. Thanks for a great weekend stay.

I’ve stayed in many hotels but this had the best bed and mattress I’ve slept in. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

The hotel is a bit tired but staff friendly and breakfast was nice. A bit noisy and built in a concrete jungle of other properties which made arrival at night not very inspiring. But first thing in the morning some nice views out across the marina.

The Malmaison itself is decent, located by the marina so if you upgrade to a sea view it’s lovely. The view the other direction less so- it’s a tired looking mostly empty shopping development and Asda carpark. Below the hotel on the boardwalk are a selection of chain restaurants -Pizza Express, Nando’s, Zizzi, Prezzo and a TGI, McDonalds and Five Guys a couple of minutes walk away. No independents that we noticed which is a shame. Free parking is a bonus. But, it’s not in the main town and not really walkable so you’d have to drive into town and pay the extortionate parking prices to experience Brighton’s character.

Ideal for business trips. Nice location and professional. This is the 4th hotel in the area I've recently been at for work purposes and the best for it. Malmaison Oxford is a nice restaurant too. I haven't been to Brighton since I was a baby so can't remember visiting but this hotel is good if needing something more efficient. The other hotels in the area aren't as good. Good WiFi, restaurant and bar, nice room and good views by the waterfront.

Nice hotel in a good location on the marina. Plenty of free parking across the road and lots of options for evening meals in the marina area. Comfortable rooms if on the smaller side. Small but well designed bathrooms and nice shower. Friendly and helpful check-in. Overall a good choice for staying on the edge of Brighton.

Nice night away
I had a lovely room over looking the marina. There was plenty of things to do in the local area plenty of restaurants and entertainment i.e mini golf,bowling,cinema and casino. we ate In the restaurant which was great and food was very nice.

Hotel was good - but I was not a fan of the area. It’s part of the Marina complex which is a bit of weird outpost and cut off from the rest of the city. A selection of chain restaurants but all a bit soulless with an ugly multi-storey car park (free at least) and a huge Asda to welcome you. Hotel was absolutely fine but I won’t return due to the overall location which was not for me

Hotel is nice, located outside of Brighton, had to drive everywhere to get to Brighton, parking in Brighton is difficult. Had to change room because we were put in a disabled accessible room that we did not need. The shower flooded the entire bathroom where it made it dangerous to walk when getting out of the shower. Cleaning staff informed us it has been an issue for a long time and they have to use multiple towels to try to dry the bathroom.

Fabulous!
I think this was our third stay at Malmaison, Brighton this year so we knew what to expect (although my girlfriend didn't, we got engaged!). We like the location by the marina and always choose a room with a sea view but were very grateful for our upgraded room on arrival. The staff are all fabulous, front of house and backstage. The hotel itself is always spotless and we like the option of not having your room serviced during short stays in exchange for drinks vouchers (my girlfriend recommends the Olive & Lemon Verbena Martini). See you in May 2024!

Great stay, lovely staff, very welcoming and attentive. Amazing views from the room Bad parts: Room had issues with drainage, water did no drain away which was an issue, and cleaniness, could of been better. Bath mat was dirty and no toilet brush.
