Great Location

This is a traditional home in a great location and it truly does have beautiful views. The home has plenty of room. Each bedroom is a very nice size with comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. The kitchen was supplied well with cooking equipment. Our family enjoyed the pool tables as well. The home is decorated simple, but for our family this was helpful staying in the home with small children. The property manager Gina was very responsive during our stay to any questions.

Has amazing views!

The pool tables, ping pong table and supplies could use some TLC, the house has a few areas that are showing signs of its age, but overall the place was beautiful, functioned well, and was a perfect fit for our wants and needs! Would definitely come back

Everything we needed

We had a great stay. The home had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out processes were simple and smooth. Pictures don’t do the views justice. Plenty of space for people inside and parking outside. No shortage of activities at the house. I highly recommend this home.

A-mazing!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family Christmas. Neat, clean and enough room for everyone to relax or play a game of pool. The views were second to none. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook for our crowd. The host was very quick to respond. We definitely recommend staying here and we hope to be back as well.

Nice Views, Roomy House

We (my family) stayed 5 days before Christmas. My Christmas gift to my Children and Grandchildren was the Polar Express and exchanging gifts. We were disappointed that there was no Christmas tree. The rooms were all big. plenty of seating. The pool table was nice, fun for the adults and children. The house was dated in need of a good cleaning and repairs. The carpet had stains and the tile was broken in places. This did not stop us form having a wonderful time. We all had a blast. I .would love to go back. The owner was very nice and helpful. I will recommend this property to family and friends.. We all had a blast. Good memories made.

If your visit is to ride the polar express very convenient just a few miles perfect location

The only thing i would recommend is a gate for the stair case top and bottom for those who have toddlers.

Birthday Spectacular

The house and the area was beautiful. My family had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for everyone and supplies. We only used the pool, it was clean. I had the best 60th birthday celebration with beautiful background pictures. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and welcoming.

Family Vacation2022

Unbelievable views!!!! Everywhere you looked seemed like a perfect painting! The pool and hot tub were amazing for kids and adults of all ages (we had ages 75 to3). The house was huge we had plenty of room to play games and enjoy the pool table and ping pong. We made dinner there for the 16 of us every night and enjoyed the property to its fullest. We would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. The host was great and communication with her was wonderful.

Fun in July

The house was overall nice. The pool and hot tub both could have used a better cleaning prior to our arrival. There was a lot of trash and dirt on the bottom. We could not get the pool light to come on to swim at night, we were able to find switches but maybe the bulb needed changed. They literally left 4 trash bags and two rolls of extra toilet paper for a party of 10 people staying 5 days and 4 nights. So, make sure you go buy or bring dishwasher tabs,, laundry soap, and dryer sheets and all.. On plus sides There was lots of game tables, two fridges, pantry was stocked with pans and small kitchen appliances, views were amazing on both sides of house, coded gate was major plus, spacious, loved that downstairs bedrooms all went out to pool (it would have been nice to get to pool from upstairs), and overall very safe and quite neighborhood. The locals were all so nice in every shop that we went in to also. This house met our overall expectations and we would stay again.

50th Anniversary Celebration

Best things were: Location-easy access to all surrounding activities. View-beautiful views of surrounding nature and mountains. Pool - was fun but not very clean and in need of repair, deck was not clean, the limited amt of patio furniture & not clean. House was spacious but limited seating - only a medium sized sectional for all of living area, whole house very dated in need of a good cleaning and repairs. Bedrooms were adequate but again not clean and in need of repairs. Flooring/Carpeting needs cleaned/replaced. Yard area overgrown, we had to dig fire pit out of mud to use. Because it was sufficient for our needs rated it a 3 but would never recommend to friends or family.

Family VACA 2022

This was plenty of space for our 2022 FAMILY VACATION for 14. We enjoyed every inch of this home from the pool, ping pong, pool table, foosball, and the hot tub. So much room to move about. Two minor things to consider when booking this home are a gate for the stairway (the typical gate does not work) find one that completely attaches to one side and swings around to attach on the other side. Lastly, several loose tiles on upper deck could easily be kicked over into pool area below where your guest are. Final note, other than small cosmetic flaws which only shows use of other family fun over time, this house left us with ALOT of beautiful memories.

Mountain Retreat

We had a multi-generational vacation at this super fun property! The amenities were awesome - pool, hot tub, ping pong, billiards, foosball, and corn hole. We all enjoyed spending time together while playing and relaxing. The views were absolutely spectacular. The property is well-named! The house was also located close to our other activities and to restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property if you want a wonderful mountain vacation.

Incredible Mountain Views

My friends and I do a reunion every year and this rental was the perfect spot. It had everything we needed. Towels, full stocked kitchen tools, pool table, ping pong, hot tub, pool, Foosball, fire pit etc. There are huge windows in the house with a lot of natural light and views of the mountains from every angle. The hosts were quick to respond about what kind of coffee maker they had and what the wifi password was. The internet connection was weak but you're at the top of the mountain so that is to be expected. I gave it a 4 on cleanliness mostly because the place is a little dated, some of the chairs were a little wobly or broken, but it had no effect on our enjoyment of the property. Overall I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a breathtaking, private, and entertaining house in the area.

Very roomy!

This house is even larger than pictures show! We loved having a pool table, ping pong tables, and hot tub! I was surprised that there was on a blanket on each bed.. no comforters, but we all slept fine. We would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful house but Dirty

We loved the house and view from all the windows but it definitely needs cleaning. The provisions were sparse at best, no extra sheets and very few pots and pans. While that isn't a factor in our choosing a vacation accommodation it was a little surprising. All the outside balcony doors were unlocked when we got there. My advice to the owner would be to get a good honest cleaning service and the reviews will increase the ratings.

Perfect Mountain View

Wow the view was amazing! We stayed October 17th 2020 weekend for my daughters birthday & really enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub. We made a fire & made s’mores. The house could use a little updating & new mattresses, but over all everything was great had everything we needed & plenty of space. We will definitely be staying next year as this year is booked already.

June vacation

We rented from Saturday to Friday, this house was excellent for the family, plenty of room, kitchen was open & big enough for all of us, pool a bit chilly for being heated pool man came while we were out one day & cleaned it, got the jets moving which was nice. The gas grill was awesome and we cooked out twice while we were there. There were fireflies as well. It is close to town & to the south entrance to Great Smokey Mountain National Park, there is a trail to 3 water falls 11 mins from the house and 8 to 9 mins from downtown Bryson City, very convenient. I would stay there again but would ask that they heat the pool at 84 instead of 64, Great place thank you.

Had too much fun!

Loved the house! Stayed for a girls trip (Me + 9 other girls) The view of the mountains are amazing, especially upstairs. As an African American female, I was a little skeptical with staying in this particular town but the people are friendly. The owner is super nice & responds to messages quickly. House is very spacious and clean. Definitely will rent again if/when i come back to NC with a group. A little under 10 min away from town so I was able to get last minute groceries. :)

Spectacular Views

Pros: The views are spectacular and the home is incredibly spacious. There is plenty of room to spread out, even with a large group. The kitchen has all you need to make a meal and there were plenty of towels, toilet paper, and paper towels for our weekend. We paid the extra fee to have the pool heated and it was amazing! The pool and hot tub were very clean. Cons: The home is in need of some updates-nevertheless everything was clean. WiFi signal is spotty in certain areas of the home. Owner is responsive and was able to give recommendations for things to do and places to eat. GPS doesn’t send you directly to the driveway so be sure to follow the directions sent by the owner to find the property! Overall, we had a great weekend and would definitely stay again.
