« We had a room with kitchen and with balcony with beach view. Room was brand new. All renovated and kitchen equipment all new. Everything very clean. Appreciated the beach right aside and the fact that it was not too crowdy. Personnel very kind and professional. »

« I checked in and was given my key and no other information. I get in the room and the large window that overlooks the ocean was covered in bird droppings. I call the front desk and the response is “We haven’t been able to get that cleaned-sorry “ When I checked out the next morning I asked why I hadn’t been told about the window and offered another room- no response This is not Shell Island A Resort - it’s Hell Island the Last Resort »

« The room was way over priced for it to be in the condition it was in. It had hardwood floor and the floor was covered in dirt the moment we walked in the door. The bathroom was dirty and had fake eyelashes stuck to the shower curtain from the previous resident. The tv half worked and the remote kept not working at all. The pool room was not kept up at all. I was overall disappointed in the hotel for the amount of money I spent on a weekend visit. »

« They took our money as a “down payment” for damages on the room. $100 a night. The water park smelled like pee in a few places and they wouldn’t accommodate us with anything since they took our money out of our bank account they double charged me for parking and a birthday package I bought. »

« Our unit was very clean. The unit was well furnished, excellent amenities. Outdoor needs renos. There are stairs, you may need to carry your luggage upstairs. The area is mostly quiet, but... Suites have a communicating door that let the sounds (voices and tv) go through easily. Maintenance starts making noise before 8AM every morning and nobody seems to care; I've talk to people at the desk and the answer I got meant "it is what it is, it won't change, we don't care" »

« One of the best hotel stays. I can’t remember the lady at the front desks name, but she is the one who had her arm in a sling and when I say she was one of the BEST parts of our stay. From the recommendations, to the accommodations, she made our stay feel like we were home. 10/10 recommended. Thank you! »
