One friend left with unspecified bug bites on her leg, several of us had reddish and brown stains on our mattresses, and one persons was flipped over to hide said stains. Floor came up a bit in the kitchen on our first night there and a friend got a scratch on her foot from it. Trash was also not taken out when we arrived. We stayed at the Cochrane House after attending a couple of sporting events in Detroit. It was so nice to come back to a place that was quiet and peaceful. „The building and bar area are historic and beautiful. And have some of the best espresso martinis I’ve had! The apartment style is unique.. reminds me of a small NyC apartment. I only wish they had ice and water on all the floors. Having to go down from 8 to 2 was a little inconvenient. I might also prefer having a few extra towels… often double occupancy comes with 3-4 sets of everything not just 2 bath sheets and hand towels. The staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. “
