Hotel Catshill

« Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just...

« We had a wonderful stay and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We really appreciated the excellent service and would happily stay here again. »

« Bon séjour dans l'ensemble, le petit déjeuner est convenable sans plus. La chambre est tres bien, seul bemol: la salle de bain qui aurait besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement, la cabine de douche est assez petite et la lumière qui se déclenche avec un détecteur de mouvement n'est pas pratique du tout. Mais globalement positive expérience. »

« Hôtel plein de charme, pas de doute on est bien en Angleterre. Seul gros bémol, l’isolation de la fenêtre de ma chambre qui donnait sur la rue. Impossible de dormir après 4h du matin avec le passage des voitures. »

« Vous vous douchez et soit vous êtes ébouillantés, soit vous avez l'eau aussi froide qu'au Pole Nord. La moquette dans la chambre est + que dégoûtante, et l'odeur de renfermé / humidité est assez forte. »

Literie confortable, salle de bain passable, linge de toilette de faible qualité Malheureusement la propreté n'est pas au top Petit déjeuner à 15 pounds pour une qualité médiocre, très peu de chose sont faite maison !!! alors que l'hotel se vente d'avoir des produits locaux et de bonnes qualités ! C'est à se demander ce que fait le cuisinier/pâtissier !!! »

« Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

« nous sommes restés deux jours dans cette auberge de campagne proche de startford. facile d'accès au milieu de la campagne. par contre le long d une route qui engendre beaucoup de bruit la nuit. la chambre étaient au dessus des cuisines la aussi bruyante.La propreté de la chambre était médiocre. lit moyennement confortable. Le pub/ restaurant du bas était par contre tres bien, le personnel très acceuillant et la nourriture bonne. »

« I love the property , room and staff so much .Everything was perfect except lift bec going up and down to 3rd floor with bags is difficult but going up the lovely staff help me to take my luggage but coming down it’s hard but overall it’s was perfect and bed is really comfortable.I really liked it and going back next wk again »
