„The home itself was fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and exactly as pictured. The host was responsive and friendly, and the location right on the lake made for a relaxing stay. The only downside, and the reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that there’s a camper in the front yard with people staying in it. „We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. „This place is good for what you pay for. The room was clean but the furniture and the refrigerator are old. “

„The AC did not work, gave us the wrong which lead to someone trying to come into our room at 3:30 in the morning. The next day our key cards did not work so had to get that fixed. Told them about the AC and they said someone would work on it but didn’t seem like they did.
