„The room was clean, minus a distinct bathroom smell that could have been the cleaning solution they use but was reminiscent of urine. The wall from the lobby can be excessively long so beware the hotel is larger than it may seem. Check in was not as expected. „All the staff I met were helpful and welcoming. Parking was convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with the exception that the building's external lights were directly outside my windows. The black out curtains didn't overlap so the room was pretty bright. Overall, great option with character right in downtown FDL. “

„Location is great if you just stop by from I94. Gas station, restaurants nearby. Room was booked for 4, but the sleeping sofa for the kids was not set up, so we had to ask for linens etc. and make it ourselves. Apart from that, all was good. Breakfast was good and the breakfast lady was nice and helpful, same as the friendly bar lady. Overall we enjoyed our stay. “

„I wasn't so concerned about the inside of the hotel, everything was excellent, clean and the staff was exceptionally nice. But the outside is deceiving. When we pulled up we were greeted by 2 homeless people and a prostitute who was eyeballing us with a smile. The outside of the hotel looks dingy and rundown, not too presentable. But once we entered we were greeted at the desk with a very bright, professional employee. Once settled and checked in we decided to try the family restaurant next ...

„Beautiful suite with jacuzzi (Vegas Baby), wonderful location (waterfront). Very clean property. Absolutely quiet. Amazing place to relax and enjoy. What we did not like: no housekeeping when you stay several nights. If you ask housekeeping for more Kleenex you have to call front desk. Staff is not very friendly. The last day you have to put your garbage in a bin outside and your towels in the laundry room. Is this a hotel with service for the price of 300$ per night??“

„Das Hotel liegt schnell erreichbar und leicht zu finden zwischen der Hauptstrasse und dem Seeufer. Den Strassenlärm haben wir nicht als besonders störend empfunden, aber Strandromantik mag natürlich nicht so recht aufkommen. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit angenehmen Betten ausgestattet. Wir kamen erst spät in der Nacht an, aber der Check funktionierte problemlos. Die EconoLodge ist eine gute Wahl auf der Durchreise.“
