My family and I were looking for a quiet, secluded place to spend some quality time together and celebrate our youngest daughters birthday. This cottage was perfect for us! The creek and fire pit was everyone's favorite. There was plenty of room for the five of us. Everything was so clean when we got there and Sam, the host, was quick to answer any of our questions. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to press pause on life and focus on loved ones.

The property was well kept, peaceful, and cozy. Our family of 5 had plenty of room and enjoyed exploring the creek, playing checkers on the screened in patio, and hitting the golf ball around on the small putting green in the yard. There is plenty of outside space for activities and they had corn hole boards available to use, as well as a collection of books to read and board games to play. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook our meals. The neighborhood is peaceful and we enjoyed a few walks around the neighborhood towards the creeks nearby.The hosts were great about being available to help answer questions and address needs.

Wonderful, cozy cottage in a very quiet area, within minutes from Laurel Highland trails and Seven Springs. The stream on the property is what I was attracted to in the photos on Vrbo, and all of the 5 star ratings which lived up to par in all of the pics. My family and I- husband, 5 and 9 year old boys- needed a getaway from busy life and to disconnect from work. We were re-charged after a two night stay with nature, fresh air, and the sound of the stream. The sheets and bedding were very comfortable, there were extra blankets, plenty of cookware/dinnerware, silverware, games for the kids, room to play outside and explore the stream. Ahead of our stay, The host recommended nearby park trails and a pizza place which was helpful. We will likely stay here again next year, already talking about coming to the area in spring or fall of 2027.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cottage. Honestly, the photos do not do justice to how beautiful and peaceful this place really is. In my opinion, the cottage and the surrounding area are much more beautiful in person.The creek, the quiet setting, and the overall atmosphere made the stay very special. We spent two nights here, and it was truly one of the most beautiful experiences I have had.Sam was extremely helpful, responsive, and flexible with us from the beginning. I really appreciate his kindness and the opportunity he gives guests to enjoy this amazing cottage.Thank you, Sam, for sharing such a wonderful place. We would definitely love to come back again.

This cottage was a great place for our family. Its location by the creek was beautiful and the fire pit was perfect. The cottage itself is super cute but also extremely functional. I think the hosts thought of everything- yard games, board games, and a coffee and hot beverage station!

Comfortable getaway in the woods

Very cute little cottage. Super clean and comfortable. It’s in the woods and can be pretty chilly even in the summer so keep that in mind when you’re packing clothes! Loved our stay.
