This stay was great! The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The house was clean and well kept. The shower/tubs were clean as well. I appreciated the fact that the house was equipped with so many kid-friendly games. My son enjoyed annialating me in foosball and invited me to play several other games. The house was well stocked with almost everything that you need when you're home away from home. It didn't hurt that the hosts help women from Africa. The home is stocked with beautiful hand crafted jewelry for purchase and the sales go towards helping them. I would definitely recommend this home for people who have kids of any age; or anyone looking for a quiet restful getaway experience close to many attractions that Chattanooga has to offer. The house is in a steep location, so be careful when backing out.

We loved the neighborhood, very pretty and quiet. We had a great hike to the falls and only got lost a bit. The turn offs on the way back are hard to find. The house was clean except for the clean sheets and towels that was still in the dryer. We appreciated the coffee and tea supplied at the house. The chickens were fun to feed for our kids and were very cute. Unfortunately, the surprised/scared face picture in the basement window did not fit the welcoming atmosphere of the home and scared my 8 year old very much. The only other suggestion I would have would be to have the double bed to the back room that has its own bathroom. It didn’t work well for our family to have the parent's share a jack and jill bathroom with kids. Everything else about the property was great and St. Elmo has some great restaurants for families. With Chattanooga so close, this is an oasis to stay at that is quiet and beautiful.

The Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay. Very clean, homey, and close to the hiking path! Hosts were amazing at answering any questions we had, and the restaurants they recommended were delicious!

Weekend trip

Great little comfy spots to land after a day of volleyball tournaments downtown. St Elmo every night for dinner! Recommend not driving a big truck due to narrow rd and parking. Good trip!
