I really loved my stay at the “Love Nest”. Everything was extremely clean and for me it was all about the relaxing view of the water from the porch. When I was there I spent the majority of my time sitting on that porch staring out at the river. The porch overlooks the calmer part of the water so it looks a bit like a lake more than a section of river with rapids. The serenity of sitting out there among the trees and water is definitely the selling point of this place. The cabin has a lot of positives! It is a really cool property with a lot of personality. For me it everything was perfectly fine, but my wife has some back issues and a simple thing like a recliner or some kind of comfortable seating option in the room would have really gone a long way and been a game changer for her. There are only hard wood chairs to sit in or the bed. And unfortunately the bed was just a bit too soft for her as well as she needs a firmer mattress w her issues. A few little upgrades in those categories would definitely be big. I would say this property would be best suited for a young couple who are active or for one person who isn’t as worried about a bad back ;o) Aside from that I really enjoyed my time. and I had such a restful/relaxing feeling there which is exactly what I was hoping for! I hope to come back again in the future!!!
