„This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. “

„I absolutely loved this place. The house itself is perfect size, hot tub was great. You are far enough out so you feel secluded but close enough to town to feel like you are not in the middle of nowhere. Close fishing and hiking spots. The owners were absolutely amazing. The only minor hiccup was corrected almost instantly. I willbe coming back hare.“

„Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.“

„Had a great time with family. We had all that we needed. The cabin was clean, the deck and dog area was spacious, the fire pit was fun for making s’mores. Too hot for the hot tub but was private and nice. Having the two separate cabins gave all some privacy at night to unwind from the day.“

„This was a great property! Clean. Plenty of room for everyone. Love the screened porch. There was a big field to the side where we did our “camping Olympics” and great for the dog to run around. The creek was good for floating and there were some nice trails. Close to a grocery store but still completely secluded. Quick communication with the host.WiFi was shoddy- but was better if all of us were not on it at the same time- we don’t use it much anyway. . Would be great to have a better ...

„The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes. ...
