« As a teacher, I needed something to look forward to for the end of my school year. This year I decided that a week away from the routines of my day-to-day life were in order; I've had an in-progress bit of writing collecting digital dust for longer than I'd like to admit.What I needed? Fresh air, a quiet property, and a natural setting in which I could take short strolls. Spotting wildlife, especially the local birds, in their natural habit would definitely be a plus! Anything to get my writing...

« The perfect escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Quiet, relaxing and a great location. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, stretching out in the hammocks, and the nature around us. We have seen hawks, deer, even turtles running around. Everything that you need in a cabin. Close to town and all the area attractions. Host was great to work with and very communicative all the way through. Will definitely return in the future. »

« Cabin was lovely in a secluded spot. Close to Cacapon park hiking, horseback riding, and shotgun shooting. Also Morgan County Observatory was close. Of course Berkley Speings was nice too! Rounded out each day in the hot tub! »

« Property was clean. The view was amazing! Property manager was very responsive with any questions. My family and I will definitely be using them again if we ever go back to West Virginia. »

« We stayed for a weekend getaway with our family. Kids loved the house. It was clean and the A/C blew cold during this 90 degree heat wave we had. Had a lot of amenities. Basically anything you would need. We had a small issue while we were staying and Paul quickly rectified it. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay! »

« Quick getaway for family. Cabin was excellent, beds very comfortable, wood floors, 2 br, 2 bath perfect for our group. Nice jacouzi in master br upstairs. Ramp to front door, perfect for our elderly dog. Only thing the kids didn’t like was no internet at the cabin - would have to go to the spa to have internet. Sliding glass door to balcony with chairs was a plus. »

« This cottage was peaceful and perfectly clean. More than enough room for the two of us. They even left us snacks and the item to make smores if we had a fire. »

« The cabin was cozy, clean, well stocked with essientials, and additional gifts (i.e. coffee pods, personal pizzas, and breakfast scones). It was perfect! 10/10 for the accommodations! We will be stayinf again! »

« Enjoyed our stay - the gorgeous sunsets and local eggs were definite highlights. Very easy to feel like you’ve gotten away from it all, while quick drives to the Bog Shack (flavored ices), Motherland (Afro-Caribbean with many vegetarian and vegan options, too), and Cunningham Falls State Park, among many nearby options. »
