The only reason this review isn’t a 1 is the location. The location of the building is great. Communication with the host was terrible. I had to reach out to Vrbo customer service twice in order to get a response. The “apartment” is in the back of the house and couldn’t be accessed by anyone with any type of mobility issues. The host was supposed to leave parking passes for the permit only parking but they didn’t bring them until 9:30 pm on our arrival date. Fortunately we were not ticketed. There was no way to adjust the temperature in the place. It was cold through the entire stay. Very small heaters were provided but they did not produce enough heat to make much difference. The biggest complaint I have is that the bathroom door would not close completely. At 9:30 pm the day we arrived the host came by and jiggled and shoved (it was a sliding door) but didn’t fix. He mentioned coming by the next day and I told him we would be in and out but come in anytime. On Saturday afternoon (we had a Sunday morning check out) The host messaged that he might be able to fix the bathroom and provided his phone number. At this point this was of no use to us. Some things I should have noticed but that weren’t obvious in the description were there is no common space or living room. The amenities listed a kitchen and further down a kitchenette. There is a microwave and small fridge. Dishes had to be washed in bathroom. This place is a basic hotel without the niceties or conveniences.
