The room was supposed to be a king but it was a queen and a very high bed and I am very short. The lamps had one bulb that worked, they were very sticky or rusty shades were disgusting and curtains had big stains and floor needed a good cleaning after a recent paint job. Wires open and exposed on what used to be a keypad and outdoor balcony fixture. The mattress and bed frames and dresser and nightstands looked new. We had one pillow on our bed, they did rectify that quickly. The shower was good and bed new, that’s the only reason we stayed in that room. The beach view was beautiful. The management is definitely slacking or ownership. Food and drink service was a terribly long wait. Sometimes you could wait 2 hours for breakfast, and minimal guests to be served. They are doing construction there, putting a spa in but seriously the rooms and service are needed more than a spa. They cannot maintain the services they offer now, how will they manage a spa?

Room was not clean, had trash inside. dresser was being leveled by cardboard. The bar was not clean. Kitchen closed at 5:30pm. Pictures on website are nothing like in person. Don’t waste your money.

The place is dilapidated and falling apart. In the front bathrooms for instance, three by of the stalled are out of order. It might have been nice in days past but not now. I have a long list of broken things. Unsafe as well. Our sliding porch door had no lock. Must’ve fallen off. The safe didn’t work and they couldn’t/wouldn’t fix it. Don’t eat there or you will grow old waiting for food. I ate slow and was still done before my wife’s meal came out. Horrible. Friendly staff but that’s about it.

The staff was very nice, specially Shaminque Patricia Acevedo. The cleaning crew service was great. We got an upgrade from Ocean view to Ocean Front. We decide to stay for 5 days. This hotel is a paradise and i will say it’s probably the best hotel in the area. Great amenities, Karaoke, show and live music Sunday morning. I’d just love it. Will be back.

While the staff were polite and friendly the first room we were in was infested with roaches. The microwave, fridge, counter tops, bed all had roaches. Dirty socks on porch that were not ours, shaving blade cover in shower benc. The office was closed when we tried to call and have the room changed. When we complained the following morning we were then reassigned a room with mold on the walls, floor and behind the bed. The bed was sunk-in and very uncomfortable, the air conditioning did not work and was not fixed although we called the office and voiced our concerns to staff from the minute we were placed in unit. The TV’s did not work and when we inquired we were finally told the internet was not working. We had to avoid the unit the majority of our stay and it was so unbearable that we left a night early in complete discuss to find a place at 11 pm at night. The stay ruined my husband’s birthday stay and has made me weary of Expedias judgement on partners.

Overhead light in the bungalo did not work. Porch light did not work. Tv had verticle lines in the middle of the screen. A second tv had no remote, so could not be used. Only decaf coffee. No snorkle equipment. Was supposed to have some available. Food service was slow.

The hole place is run down, they are working on it but you have to take into consideration the Hurricanes and weather this place has seen over the years, but for the price the Beach and views are awesome! The snorkeling is awesome as well but wear shoes in the surf (sea urchins). The staff was great and very helpful. I would stay here again but remember to bring a few snacks and drinks with you because there are know stores close or in walking distance.

WiFi never worked in the room so no TV service. Told the whole building was out. For my entire five day stay. Asked twice to refill shower dispensers. Never happened. Asked twice for inside and outside bulbs to be replaced. Never happened. Beautiful location on the beach but outdated old rooms. They are big though. Saturday night show was told there’d be fire dancers. Nope. Just other traditional dancers on stilts but was looking forward to the other. $45 for the buffet and show that night is questionable bc the food was not that good. Menu items are often out of stock and I didn’t know until I’d order something. Slow service but this is typical on this island. Very friendly people but customer service and maintenance can improve.

We arrived at the hotel Friday around 4:30 and was told our room was ready. When we got to the room, the bed had not been made and the room was not ready. They told us to wait so we went to the bar and waited over an hour for them to get us a new room. # 13 That room was okay but not clean. Hair on the floors and in the bathroom. The refrigerator door would not stay shut, which dripped puddles of water on the floor making it slippery. We stayed in the room on Friday and Saturday night. Sunday morning I woke up and noticed some crumbs and droppings on my clothes on top of the dresser. It appeared we had a visitor in our room who ate some crackers. Did not look like mouse droppings and only ate crackers from an open package. I reported it to the hotel stuff and they said they would send maintenance up to check it out. No one came to our room while we were there and we headed out for several hours. When we returned the door of our room was wide open. Not just unlocked, wide open. We looked over the room to make sure our belongings were still there. And they were. This was Super Bowl Sunday, so we went out to have dinner and watched the game. We returned to our room around halftime, expecting to watch the rest of the game. As soon as we entered the room I noticed that there were rodent droppings on the table. I then saw a brown streak, run across the room and into the bathroom. I close the door of the bathroom and we went down to find the manager. Need more characters to finis

Staff were very rude. The grounds were under construction. Got woke up at 7am every morning with banging noise. We were supposed to be in a down stairs room. Got put in an upstairs room. I fell going up the stairs the first trip. Stairs are unsafe. No blow dryer in room. Got brought one that did not work. They had to bring 3 microwaves in before we got one that worked. The rooms were not very clean. I could go on and one. Was one of the worst stays!!!

Room definitely neglected. Staff either lack training or caring. Amenities in room not good(being kind). The natural beauty of the property was its saving grace. Worst wait for a bad breakfast.

The restaurant was supposed to be open until 9 p.m. We went at 7:00 and the bartender told us they weren't serving food. A woman (manager) heard him say that and told him that "yes, they needed to accomodate us". The food brought out was incorrect, not what yhe menu said it would be. Another evening we tried again, and noone even came yo our table to wait on us! The waiter looked right at us and walked away! There were almost no people in the restaurant, and I guess I know why. This resort is in such a lovely location, and I want to give it 5 stars, but the eestaurant sotuation was a real turnoff.

The pictures on the site are old. The place in being refurbished but it was all less than expected, i regretted booking it and just had to bite the bullet and call it a night. The pillows are lined in plastic, the AC was dripping water, there was a bad spill/stain on the floor, the service at the bar was horrible, no non-alcoholic beer, no hot tub, and the door to my room had been kicked in at some point, so it did't lock. Even the locals know this hotel is NO BUENO...

The room was nice and the housekeeping were help ful. Bar drinks were good and food was tasty. Loved Karaoke night. Only downfall was the menu & the long wait for food. Many of the food items like local fruit were unavailable. We waited almost 45 minutes to be told there was no local fruit available. It would be helpful if the restaurant and bar hours were posted

The views were great even from our balcony. The room was clean, but it was impossible to not drag some sand in each time we came from the beach / pool area. Would have been nice to have a hose at the building to was off the sand. The room was not cleaned every day (swept). While there was coffee and a coffee maker in the room, the coffee was weak and poor quality. As a resorts with onsite restaurants go, the food was good, though not high cuisine. The issue was service. The coffee station did not open at the same time each morning. One morning it was over an hour late. We went to a local coffee shop that morning (the coffee is just tolerable to boot). Waiting to be served even when not more than 3 or 4 tables occupied could take 30 minutes or more. And if busy, forget it. The wait staff was understaffed for busy times and poorly trained. The restaurant didn't have set hours that were reliable. Breakfast was actually good and service improved throughout the week we were there as a result of one of the servers who we could tell was making a much better effort to be efficient. I would not go back to this resort personally. But objectively I have to say, the views did make up for some of the service short comings. If you go, expect very slow service.

The staff was wonderful with a very fast check in for our room. The view from the room in building B, room number 25 was unbelievable. Breakfast was wonderful and you have to remember where you are. There is only one gentleman cooking that morning, so it took a little bit longer than normal, I would call it being on island time! Food was great hot and inexpensive.
